We design and implement programmes focusing on education, youth empowerment and mentoring and civic engagement and participation.
ADVOCACY
We engage stakeholders on the issues affecting youths. Our work is aimed at initiating and influencing policies that benefit young people in Sierra Leone. We also advocate for the inclusion of young people in key leadership positions.
EDUCATION
Much of our work involves advocacy for improvement in the quality and availability of education.We also design programs that strive to reward excellence and help restore confidence in our education system.
MEMBERSHIP
CGSL is a membership based organization.Our membership is diverse, drawn from different facets of society. Members who meet their commitments benefit from unique opportunities including networking and training.
MENTORING AND SUPPORT
Our members benefit from ongoing training support and mentoring aimed at enhancing their skill-sets and develop their capacity to provide leadership in diverese spheres of society

Chozen Generation Sierra Leone is an award-winning youth s advocacy and leadership development organization in Sierra Leone br Our mission is to empower youths nationwide through the provision of relevant training opportunities mentoring coaching and support and imbibing in them strong moral values to enable them to tackle the leadership challenges of Sierra Leone br Vision is attuned along creating the next generation of Sierra Leonean leaders in all spheres of society br The organization has since its inception created an avenue for young and emerging leaders to hone their leadership skills and impact

fellow youths based on the promotion of solid moral values and principles as a core requirement for effective leadership br We have successfully embarked on several awareness-raising campaigns and advocacies surveys empowerment workshops and trainings that were all geared toward making Sierra Leone a better place br Some of our major projects include the Public Buses Watchdog Initiative The Kick Ebola Out Campaign transportation survey youth training workshop on Civic Education Social Entrepreneurship to name but a few CGSL has also been an avenue of encouragement and hope for depreived youths across the country

Meet the incredible men and women who are dedicating their time and resources to the Chozen Generation Sierra Leone dream
Joel Abdulai Kallon
National CoordinatorJoel is the founder of CGSL. He holds an honors degree in Engineering and has considerable experience in youth advocacy. He currently also works with the Institute for Governance Reform specializing in data and policy analysis.
Linda Bull
Deputy National CoordinatorLinda holds a degree in English Language from Fourah Bay College. She is also currently studying to become a lawyer. This year, Linda became CGSLs first Deputy National Coordinator having previously served as Project Officer. Linda is a massive team player who enjoys playing cricket. She currently captains Sierra Leone's female cricket team.
Harry Henry Kargbo
Programmes CoordinatorHarry has over ten years experience in youth advocacy and voluntarism.As Programmes Coordinator, a position he has held for the past two years he leads the design, coordination and implementation of all Chozen Generation Sierra Leone's programmes and activities
Tenneh Victoria Conteh
Finance CoordinatorAshley is a longstanding member of Chozen Generation Sierra Leone. As the welfare focal person, Miss Conteh manages the finances of Chozen Generation including maintaining a functional bank account. She also makes timely recording of income and expenses. She is also responsible for fundraising.
