Chozen Generation Sierra Leone (CGSL) is pleased to announce to its membership and for the information of the public that it has reached a partnership arrangement with Transformation Education (TE), a not-for-profit organization registered in the Sierra Leone and the United States of America which provides educational support to children and young people.

Transformation Education has been operating in Sierra Leone for over ten years and has strong expertise in providing educational and leadership development and Information Technology support to schools. The organization also organizes seminars and youth camps that focus on the empowerment of the physical, spiritual and vocational self.

As part of the partnership, CGSL and TE will be providing basic Information Technology to WASSCE school leavers who are awaiting admission to universities as well as college/university graduates who are seeking to get IT skills to increase their chances of gaining employment.
The package also includes an opportunity for selected candidates to volunteer up to ten hours a week at Transformation Education’s Information Technology and Resource Centre. This will help give selected applicants a unique working and volunteer experience that will enrich their attractiveness in the job market. The program will be implemented on a quarterly basis with each batch of successful applicants been duly certified at the end of the program.
Other components of the partnership includes setting up leadership clubs targeting the brightest young leaders in selected schools across the country.

CGSL’S Regional Coordinator South, Mr. Sheku Sheriff who will be managing this partnership says the program will commence by mid-November with the selection of the first batch of twenty qualified applicants who will undergo intensive training and volunteering for three (3) months.
