The Public Buses Watchdog Initiative aims at promoting a national sense of ownership of state properties. It also encourages youth voluntarism and patriotism to stop the misuse of public buses/property. Launched in June 2015, the initiative soon became a national success as it drew together more than one hundred volunteers from all walks of life, all committed to the same goal. The initiative, at its peak in 2016 helped drew greater accountability on the use and management of government buses.
