Mohamed Adams Sesay Wins CGSL Most Outstanding Newcomer Award

MOST OUTSANDING NEWCOMER AWARD 2019

Mohamed Adams Sesay also known as ‘Diplomatic Adams’ had his first contact with Chozen Generation Sierra Leone in 2014 when he registered as a volunteer in the organization’s flagship Public
Buses Watchdog Initiative, a youth-led effort that monitored the operations of government buses in order to curb corruption and malpractices which impeded efficiency in their services .
As a volunteer, Adams was primarily responsible for designing the graphic illustrations of the PBWl through compelling flyers and posters. He also engaged in regular bus-to-bus sensitization of commuters on how to report issues with the buses.Mr. Sesay did all of these at no cost to CGSL and even though he had not attained a membership status in the organisation then.
In 2018, Mohamed was finally inducted as a Member of Chozen Generation Sierra Leone and has brought with him his inspiring energy, reliable commitment and selfless patriotism to the organization.
Mohamed is a shining example of CGSL’s ambition to nurture selfless leaders in all spheres of the Sierra Leonean society.
His award as the organization’s Most Outstanding Newcomer ( MONC 2019) recognizes his longstanding support and commitment to Chozen Generation’s core objectives. The award ceremony took place on  Friday, 27th December 2018 at an end-of-year barbecue event in Freetown.
The Most Outstanding Newcomer award is a maiden initiative by CGSL that recognizes new members who demonstrate leadership and commitment to the organization’s goals. Alongside the Member of The Year (MOTY) award, CGSL continuously strives to reward outstanding leadership and a passion for excellence.
